Students aged 14-16 years and their teachers are invited to join this CommNet Education eSeminar to discover more about European forests, the many resources they provide, and how we can sustainably manage them in the future. Bioenergy plays a critical role in Europe’s future renewable energy supply, and how we cope with climate change. But how do we ‘unlock’ the unused wood currently tied up in small parcels of land across Europe to meet this demand?

In addition, the session will provide students with insights into career opportunities in scientific and technological research in Europe.

The eSeminar is open to everyone, but will be of particular interest to students aged 14 – 16 years and their teachers.
